The couple were expecting their first child, Jordan now 5 years old, the mother bought this journal for him to write his thoughts in it for the son, just in case he didn’t return. The man was deployed for several months and then was given two weeks to come back home to see his new son. During the two weeks the two bonded. He then had to return back to Iraq to finish out his tour. With one month left on his tour he was killed in a road side IED explosion.

Apparently the journal had consumed the man and he had written over 200 pages.The pages were filled with stories and tips. Some of them were what his favorite foods were, others about marriage, relationships, and how to treat women, also how to be a man. The man left his son with a guide on life and tips on how to fall in love.

I think this is a great idea. Even if you are not in the military. You never know when the worst will happen. You are not promised your next breath. This is a great way for parents to leave a legacy to their children if they pass away, giving the child a window into the life of a deceased parent.

Definately be a present I’ll be buying my parents this year, God forbid I lose one of them, I’ll always be able to hear them in this book! Can’t imagine my life without them so it’s a safety net for the worst and a treasure for life!

Most of Madonna’s music videos have been great and really accompanied the song and worked well. Like Hung Up, Like A Prayer and Celebration. But in 2000 videos started to drop out, just becoming beautiful women, stunning men and fast cars. Artists like Eminem tried to keep his videos original and narrative, but other R’n'B and Rap artists just went with what would sell their record. As we come to the end of the first decade of 2000 music videos have died, but hope shines. Our girlbands; Girls Aloud, The Saturdays and The Sugababes along with new boyband JLS are putting together great videos and some great dance routines! She has the same passion for music, performance and her fans as Michael Jackson did, if her highly anticipated second album is as good as the first and she can keep pace with the standards she’s set, it looks like the music world is in safe hands!

Lets just hope that our Urban musicians can take suit and start producing some decent music videos to match their great songs! Taio Cruz, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Wiley, Jay Sean, N-Dubz and Lil’ Wayne… step up your game boys!!!

I can’t understand why he didn’t vote to save Lucie… he’s been bitching about the Twins for weeks now he has the chance to bin them and he allows the chance for them to survive!?!?!?!
Yes they bring lots of PR and Media attention to the show, but is he so worried about the success of his show that he’s willing to sacrifice an incredibly talented young woman who would have outsold the inbred twins?

I appreciate that he allowed the public to vote out the act they didnt want, and we only have ourselves to blame for Lucie being put in that position, but none the less you would expect a Music Mogel like Cowell to protect his reputation as a respectable music producer!

Watching the Xtra Factor it would appear I’m not the only one who is disgusted with the results of this week! Honestly think it’s the most monsterous thing that has ever happened on the X Factor and is now making me reconsider my alligience to it against Strictly Come Dancing!!!

I’ve watched the show since it’s begining in 2004 with our fabulous first winner Steve Brookstein – where is he now? he’s done some very low budget stage productions and is currently touring Pizza Express Outlets performing some Jazz numbers. Even though I’ve followed the show religiously this year I’m finding it hard to be interested… there is a real variety of voices and talents, but if I’m 100% brutally honest… there is very few contestants this year that I would go out and buy a CD of.

I’m going to be a bit harsh, by listing the names of the finalists and give my opinion – no offence meant to anyone but it’s my view – the X next to the contestant’s names mean I think that they have the X Factor or a chance at success…

Boys:
Lloyd – cute, mediocre voice, survived so long because of the teenage girl & mums vote.
Joe X - great voice, amazing control, possibly one of very few who’s ready to be recording artists who could sell singles
Rikki – Glad he’s gone.. no stage presence, odd voice, not a pin up

Girls:
Rachel – Deserved to go, she gave up fighting, Proud Mary worst performance she could have done so much better!
Lucy X - Amazing vocalist, 7/11/09 finally found a song that suited her voice and age! expecting to see her in the finals!
Stacey X - Eva Cassidy 2009… amazing voice, starting to work on a stage presence, dopey but 100% loveable – finals!

Groups:
Miss F.R.A.N.K – fresh, new, quirky… loved them wanted to see a lot more of them…would never have longevity
Kandy Rain – HATED them! strippers.. didnt wanna be judged.. first show look like hookers! SHAMEFUL
John&Edward - VLC (vile little creatures!) hate that they are still in the show, taking the place of someone who deserves it! but they do entertain me week in week out!

Over 25′s:
Jamie – this years Ben Mills but less talented… he’s a phase of music. no winner.
Danyl – giving up in this competition because some people said mean things… doesn’t deserve his place in the XFactor – would have prefered Nicole Laurence – she would have fought to stay! He peaked in the auditions
Olly X - Hope to see him sing something contemporary, at the moment I don’t know if he can sing something modern and still perform as well, right now he’s fantastic but no chart topper everything he sings is vintage. expect to see him in the finals though!

This year there is something missing, I’m not 100% what it is.. it could be that the live audience has been there since the begining so there’s nothing really special about the live shows, it could be the judge’s pettiness this year is becoming a drone or it could just be that there is no one with the X Factor, there certainly isn’t anyone at the moment with the potential of Leona or Alexandra!

The Judges:
Dannii this year has really surprised me, she’s had a great catagory and has worked amazingly with them, picking great songs every week!
Cheryl has become quite maternal this year, but looks better than ever! I look forward to seeing the latest Alexander McQueen outfit each week! She’s working amazingly with Joe, but letting Lloyd down a bit.
Simon has become pathetic this year, endulging in little digs and whining! Also risked his respect by paying Whitney Houston to allow Danyl to sing one of her new unreleased songs.. which I think was unfair and disgusting!
Louis, Louis, Louis! What has happened to him this year…. he’s obnoxious, rude and pointless! Really not enjoying his comments… they have no drive, no point and to be honest he has no credibility in the X Factor this year working with the VLCs!!!

No matter what the reason I strongly believe that the X Factor has lost it’s mojo this year, I pray that in the next few weeks something is injected because otherwise next year I think stricly will win the ratings race!

London to me, is a place to have a career, to find celebrity status if you want it, to work long hours and party for longer hours! London is a place you can find absolutely anything it’s the perfect microstudy of every denomination, race and ethnic group!

But above all London to me is Sin City, thousands of people come and go everyday, the come to work, to play, to see the sites and to have the no strings fun with the high flying city boys and girls! But everyone always ends up leaving at some point!

Finding your true love is tricky enough, yet millions have decided to complicate this task by moving to the city! Is it possible to fall in love in London? Even though there is an estimated 4 millions single people living in Greater London, theres still so few loves stories! Maybe SinCity has attachs it’s legend to all singletons, that they wont, no can’t, fall in love within the boundaries of London Town!

There’s never been a great love story set in the city, nor a famous romancer from the capital. The City may be essential to launching a hugely successful, powerful and executive career, it’s undoubtably not the place to fall in love!
Maybe through all our self fufilling prophecies of knowing you can’t fall in love in the capital, maybe we stop ourselves… I think it’s time that we started changing things in the capital…

Guys and Girls start dating again, date anyone worse case scenario your having lots rehearsals for that perfect date with the right person, and hey you can even look at it as research – finding the perfect restaurant for a meal, nicest coffee shop for casual dates and the perfect spot for that first kiss!

Now I’m 20 i’m struggling to find single guys who arent neurotic, narcassistic or just not suitable… and I’m not the only one, a close friend of mine, we’ll call her “Candy”, is also feeling the pinch in the man shop. Has the credit crunch thats attacking the world also attacked the single men that come backage free with good looks and a pension plan!

Even Bonny Tyler agrees the attractive single men have left, “Where have all the good men gone, and where are all the gods, where’s the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds, isn’t there a white knight upon a fiery steed, late at night i toss and i turn and dream of what i need… I need a hero!”
And if a multimillionaire singing superstar is struggling to find men what chance do we have?

The 21st century has lead to gay men having to date online and not organically and slowly the hetrosexual world is following suit, every day a new online dating site is opening, so this tells me that there are a lot of single people still looking for a relationship and ultimately love, so why is there so few away from our screens? Even our leading newspapers and journalists support this online match making, rags like The Guardian, The Sun and The Times repeatedly have promos running for singles to find their mr or mrs right! Instead 90% of singles under the age of 35 are left with mr right now, chosen from a crowd of 250 drunk singles in a nightclub where the several tequilla shots consumed have made many more people attractive!

So why do single today either have to have a cam to cam coffee with “hotguylondon121″ on msn or stay single until you feel your use by date is creeping so close you settle for who is around at the time?
Is this a path that all singles in the world who don’t know what the internet is, let alone a single site, are destined for?
Are we all given the myth by our parents, films and great legends that we will fall in love with an amazing person who we can’t live without…. if so I curse Shakespeare for creating Romeo and Juilet and of course Casanova – the greatest lover – who made handfuls of women believe he was in love with them but never was… Even great gods of old Zeus – King of the Gods and the whole universe cheated on his lovers and wives… thankfully our cheated don’t react the same as his wife, the Godess Hera who had his head cut open to give birth to a new child!

Another friend “Daniel” , 33, said that he’s fed up of dating… he doesn’t find guys over 30 attractive, guys under 20 seem to immature and the guys in their 20s only want one thing – sex! What is a single gay man living in the Capital supposed to do when his market closes every door? Maybe the media has created an image of the perfect man and woman and when people aren’t suitable to walk the runway for Chanel and Gautier they are cast aside by the masses left to slowly  sour until they are 35 years old, bitter and single waiting for anyone who’ll have them in their full damaged glory!

I’m beginning to think that people are just becoming too picky with the people they want to date that it’s creating a drought in the world of love, everyone wants to take a break from work but I don’t think cupid is too happy taking so much time off!!
